From Weekly to Whenever: A New Chapter Begins

Dear Readers,

Twelve years ago, I began this blog with a simple goal: to share thoughts, stories, and insights about aging—its joys, its challenges, and everything in between. I didn’t know then how much this journey would come to mean to me. Week after week, post after post (nearly 650 posts!), this space became more than just words; it became a connection. A place where I could explore, reflect, and share, knowing that you were out there reading, nodding along, or even occasionally disagreeing.

Now, it’s time to bring this chapter to a close.

This blog has been a part of my life for over a decade, and stopping feels bittersweet. I hope that along the way, you’ve found something here to make you think, laugh, or feel less alone in your own aging journey. I hope my words gave you encouragement, or at least a gentle reminder that this stage of life is as vibrant and full of possibility as any other.

But while this blog is ending, my writing journey is far from over. I’ll still be writing about all things, including aging and, as always, with a personal lens. I’m currently working on my sixth book, which will take priority, but I’ll be sharing on social media anything I think you might be interested in. My missives will continue to be honest, heartfelt, and hopefully just as meaningful as my blogs have been.

Like I said, you can still find me over on Facebook, Instagram, Threads, and Bluesky, where I’ll continue to share bits of wisdom, musings, and updates.

Thank you for being a part of this incredible journey. For reading, commenting, sharing, and simply being there. I’m endlessly grateful.

Here’s to the next chapter—one I hope you’ll follow in spirit, if not always in words.

With love and gratitude,
Antonia
