Vignettes in Aging – Wisdom

Do you think being wise is the same as being knowledgeable? Knowledge is only one half of the equation. A truly wise person not only has the knowledge of some truth or principle but is able to apply that knowledge into his or her life.

“With age comes wisdom.” This statement is only true if you made notes along the way and grew from your mistakes. If you haven’t, you’ll continue to repeat the past and will create the same disappointing outcomes again and again.

It’s never too late to expand your knowledge AND wisdom. Others are looking to you as the elder wise person.

What will you have to share with them?
